when looking for record usage from your camera..you want to capture at the highest resolution possible unfilled in the market…aptly now that 1280×720 for compacts… such as Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX37. You also want a camera that allows optical zoom all through tape… the Panasonic does, the List 880IS does not. if you will be doing any post-capture control… MJPEG (.avi) are simpler to work with than cameras that confirmation to Quicktime (.mov) or MP4.

Any of the list models will work fine. The olympus probably not as well. Any of the new list powershots take splendid cinema.
