The track pad is not trying to get to. Naturally the top lifts off and you can remove the upright and track pad. As for spares you will be fortunate to find anyone with spares and if you can find someone then it will be expensive.
I would any look for a broken mainframe of the same model vacant low-cost on ebay for a spare or just plug in a USB mouse.
