Centrino processors are usually slower, less performant processors.

I'd recommend against getting a Laptop for gaming, Especially since you want to run very graphic intensive games like Crysis and Call of Duty.

In about a year, your Laptop won't be able to run the latest games fluentyl anymore, and you will be unable to replace the graphics chip, when the processor is still suitable for the games.

Well no matter how good a laptop is, it will be out dated in 5-6 years, which is really good. From what you said travel a lot and like to multitask. from this point you stated i would go with the sony vaio even though it might have less RAM it makes it back for being more light weight, more hardrive, and more portable.

Bottom Line for you i would choose the Sony Vaio P8600 because of travel and storage advantages

Any 2.5" SATA drive can work with a Toshiba Qosmio G35 laptop.

Yes you can upgrade the RAM to its maximum of 4GB. The laptop may not run it at 667 MHz speed but you can still use 667 MHz DIMMs which will just throttle back at 533 MHz.

It is a good brand. But rarley does a computer crash jut for any reason. It is normaly phycal abuse of the computer or a virus. You need to get a good virus protection. ( do not use norton it slows a computer, use avg ) As for gaming you want to get a game specificaly for gaming wich can get expensive. Most laptops are not built for being fast and loded up with games. I recommend the dell xp. As for work all you will need is microsoft xp and an email account, wich will not slow your computer. also you have to think about price. Try a this site hxxp://www.newegg.com/ - i have bought products from this site and it safe, reliable, and cheap.
