for starters, free Windows Show Maker* (XP-wmm2 & Vista-wmm6) provides unadorned & simple way to learn the rigging < click help for details>. Upgrade to intermediate video editing applications accdg. to need & skill level

There are 3 types of files on DvD disc=>.vob, .ifo & .bup. IFO is an index file containing navigational info, i.e., where a video chapter begins & where audio & subtitle streams exist w/in the movie (VOB) file. Only the video.vob file is used for editing – convert if not supported.

Unfortunately, .vob is not supported by wmmaker. Convert video.vob files to avi or wmv first before import to editing app.
=>Try Prism or Kates (free)
- google, download & open video converter
- set supported output format/resolution (avi; wmv) & pc folder destination
- insert dvd disc to pc drive
- add video.vob files from DvD folder/Video_TS
- click convert…converted files are saved to set pc folder

video editing process- XP/wmm2
>>> open wmm- start/all programs/wmm->TASK pane
1. Import supported video files, pics, music
2. Edit- drag/drop video files->timeline & enhance w/effects, transition, music & titles
3. Finish (render)- save Movie –OK for youTube, also save Project.msmmw file
>>> Impart-burn to CD (if DvD, use DvD authoring app, e.g.,DvD Flick, Nero, etc.)

For Vista/wmm6, t’is akin: Import/ Edit/ Publish/ WindowsDVD or Nero for authoring

the camera is a handycam it as 4.0 MP for still images or cinema and records dvd+- r and rw, has a CMOS and is a dolby digital 5.1 surround sound creator. it doest have a steady shot and even if it does not produce a HD picture it has a 16:9 and a 4:9 shots. the business thats been incredible me about this camera is is the nightshot and the super nightshot. and yeah in this sample its all glidy. my limb of the clergy bought the camera at best buy for $1,050. ill probably post a pic of the nightshot later…

The dual sided discs can be used as well if you can find one. Since it is the same plot as a habitual DVD but has two sides where data can be recorded.

The DVD + is the newest plot which is more dependable than DVD -, but DVD -R or RW can be played on nearly 93% DVD players, but +R/RW can only be played on 80% DVD players.

The R is the Once recordable disk and RW is the Re-writable disk.

Go for the 405 it is well worth the cash and the additional fee for the 505 is really for the better LCD screen and higher megapixels, by and large that’s it. I researched them both for a even as and chose on the 405 and like it! Check out this review, it will resolution all of your questions.

i have sony handycam model DVD 605e.I want to know who i can transfer the record recorded on the handycam to my PC ? Please help me in that as i am very baffled ? must there any software looked-for to do that ?

I house of safeguard’t got a firewire on my DVD 605. Neither of my Mac’s even see the camcorder when I plug in the USB port. I am also baffled.
Can anyone help?
